Hey there, I’m yet another highly regarded investor, and I’d like to welcome you to my blog. I’m planning to post about my portfolio and trades here. The goal of this blog is to sort out my thoughts through writing, have something I can look back on and evaluate, and if anyone ever reads this shit, I’d be interested in getting some outside perspective on my plays.
My current status is:
- just spent most of my money on a down payment for an apartment
- slim savings in a HYSA (2 months of expenses)
- $3k I had sitting on IBKR that I completely forgot about
Plans:
- slowly build up my emergency fund to roughly 4-5 months of expenses
- since I’ve never had any emergency that actually required touching my savings, I figured I could build that fund slowly while yeeting most of the money I set aside into stocks
- build two portfolios - one growth stocks, one ETF portfolio for some stable investments
- stocks portfolio: 70% of my monthly savings goes here. Plan is to buy GOOGL/MSFT/META. And LEAPS calls, obviously. Starting with LEAPS because I want that leverage to compensate for my non-existent portfolio.
- ETF portfolio: 30% of my monthly savings. Didn’t have time for proper DD, so I kept it simple with one global ETF (VWCE).
